Runner ‘stampede’ to Pelican for festival run

More than 40 runners gathered at Chauncey Martin Field at 8:00 a.m. July 13 for the running of the 13th Annual Pelican Pete 5k. The Pelican Rapids High School Viking Cross Country Team hosts the event and all are invited to come and walk, run—or cheer. PHOTOS COURTESY KI GOHDES
